Description:
Dark blue wool army officer's double-breasted frock coat; 1 1/2" closed stand-up collar lined with dark blue velvet; metal attachments for epaulets on both shoulders; 7 buttons down each side of the front, horizontal slit watch pocket to the right of the bottom button at the waistline; closed 8 1/2" wide sleeves with false cuffs, 3 buttons at each wrist; back made in 4 panels, 2 buttons near the center at the waistline, split skirt; coat lined with dark green silk, sleeves lined with white cotton, breast and sides of bodice lightly padded and quilted, horizontal slit pocket on each side.
