Wrought silver coffee and tea service consisting of a coffeepot, teapot, hot water pot, sugar bowl with lid, creamer and waste bowl; raised circular forms with bulbous lower bodies with all over chased and repousséd floral and swag designs, set on four applied feet, each cast and chased in the form of women's heads with feathered headdresses tapering to the cast feet; upper bodies flare to convex shoulders; hinged, stepped dome lids on tea, coffee, hot water pots and sugar bowl covered in two rows of chased and repousséd floral garlands and an acanthus design; seated Chinese figure finial; scrolled, cast and chased acanthus leaf handles on all but the waste bowl; scrolled shield-shaped cartouches in the front center of each are engraved with the Lenox family crest; four quarters, 1 and 4: argent a saltire engrailled between four roses, 2 and 3 three salmon each with a ring through his nose in a diamond; makers' marks on base.
