A gold metal coin embossed on one side with the Trylon and Perisphere from the 1939 New York World's Fair encircled by "Metropolitan Life Insurance Exhibit/ New York World's Fair"and radiating rays. On the reverse, the spire of the Metropolitan Life building and the words "The Light That Never Fails/ Metropolitan Life Insurance Comapny".
