Curved tortoise shell comb with rounded top and seven teeth (one broken).

This comb was probably owned by Mrs. John (Harriet Moore Francis) Rogers, Jr. (1841-1927), wife of the sculptor John Rogers. They lived in New York until 1877, when they established their residence in New Canaan, CT.
