Grant memorial badge consisting of polychrome silk satin pin-back ribbon in the shape of American flag with bust-length portrait of Grant within oval medallion at center and image of eagle above; inscription woven across top edge: "GENERAL GRANT"; black gauze top layer attached to ribbon by black silk grosgrain ribbon edging at top.
