Cream silk satin ribbon with printed image of eagle in glory of stars perched upon ornate shield with figure of Native American wihin; inscription imprinted in black: "MASSACHUSETTS/DELEGATION./BALTIMORE CONVENTION/1840." Cream laid paper envelope inscribed in graphite.
