Description:
Opaque white pressed glass butter dish in the form of a duck sitting on a basket; cover in the form of a bobtailed duck; dish with basketweave sides and roping edges. Underside of dish with basketweave and central cross.
Gallery Label:
This dish, known as the "bobtailed duck" by some collectors, has been attributed to the Westmoreland Glass Co. of Grapeville, PA (see Publications).
