Embroidered silk crazy quilt; 36 pieced rectangular blocks with appliquéd stars, embroidered and painted flowers and animals, and black plate-printed imagery; each corner block with fan motif; patchwork sawtooth border with embroidery, black velvet infill, and scalloped edge with blue binding; one-piece backing of blue printed silk.
