Description:
Colorless pressed lead glass cream jug; pattern of peacock feathers on stippled ground, on top part and spout of jug, with Gothic arches and palms on lower part; handle with stippled bands; base with pattern of rays surrounding concentric circles.

According to Kenneth Wilson, "the body of the jug and its handle were made by the method set forth by Deming Jarves's 1830 patent for pressing a vessel with a handle in one operation" (See Publications).
