Description:
silver cream ladle with an upturned thread and bead pointed handle engraved, "J De F H" in script; scalloped shell bowl; maker's marks stamped on the underside of the handle.
Gallery Label:
The initials "JdeFH" refer to Jane de Forest Hawley (b.1826, later Windle) who was the sister of Elizabeth King Hawley (1833-1926), the donor's mother.
