Description: 
Wrought silver creamer; oval body with tapered sides; two concave flutes at each end with gadrooning between the flutes on the lower body; high, extended pouring lip, low at the sides, high at the front and back with an applied, reeded rim; hinged lid in the shape of the rim, raised in the center to an oval dome surmounted by a ball finial; reeded, squared strap handle, tapered towards the base; engraved on the front center with the crest of the Beare family of New York, a bird on a tied bundle of sticks, over, "H C B" in bright-cut script; maker's mark on the base.
