Description:
Cast, electroplated silver creamer; oval body with straight sides; applied reed bands around the base and rim; applied, extended tiangular spout; cast and applied, s-scroll handle with an oval thumbpiece; engraved, "Dean Richmond" in script; maker's marks on the base.

This creamer was made for the steamship "Dean Richmond" commissioned in 1865.
