Description:
Pressed lead glass cup plate with opalescent tint; circular form with rope edge; pin-wheel motif punctuated by small stars at center of well, surrounded by series of concentric circles; series of 8 baskets with fruit and flowers at regular intervals along interior rim; rope table ring (Lee-Rose 90).

Jane Spilman suggests that this cup plate was probably manufactured at either the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, Massachusetts, or the New England Glass Company, Cambridge, Massachusetts (See Publications).
