Glazed earthenware cup plate with scalloped border and decorated with light blue and white transfer printed image of a rural residence with a house and barn, trees, a cow and a man holding a walking stick in the foreground surrounded by a pearl border.
Gallery Label:
Richard Jordan (1756-1826), a prominent Quaker minister, was born and raised in Virginia and moved to New Jersey in 1809.
