Description:
Glazed pearlware scalloped edged cup plate with transfer printed image of the landing of Lafayette at Castle Garden.
Gallery Label:
According to the donor, General Lafayette came to New York on August 16,1824 . The Robert Fulton and the Chancellor Livingston are the decorated steamships pictured on the plate.
