Set of five cups with black handles and gold rims, each with a humorous figural scene in black silhouette, perhaps relating to marriage; five saucers, each with three black silhouettes of animals such as lobsters, insects, or birds.

Miss Dawson was a bridesmaid for Angelena Burr Corse (Mrs. Lena Cadwalader Evans); she decorated the cups and saucers as a gift for the bride.
