Description:
Mechanical toy consisting of Asian male figure mounted on top of drum with wire; figure with papier-mâché head with black pigtail made out of yarn, molded and painted features including brown slanted eyes and waxed moustache; exotic costume mounted on wire armature with composition lower arms and red painted lower legs, with black slippers painted onto feet; each hand grasping wire with bells; green shirt and pants, covered in orange and black velvet dots, with scalloped and fringed hems; drum with red and gold decoration and back panel with lithographed scene of group of children in bucolic setting; when wooden handle on side is wound, figure goes up and down.
