Description:
Set of four molded whiteware dishes, each representing a raised and painted image of a locomotive, and each plate has pierced holes for wall mounting
Gallery Label:
The '999' was built in the West Albany shops of the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad in 1891. On May 10th, 1893, it set a world's record for speed, making 112.5 miles an hour near Batavia, New York.
