Description:
Colorless pressed glass footed bowl; flanged rim with grape leaves and clusters in relief, three princess feather medallions on sides, and domed foot with ribbing on underside; matching domed cover with knob finial with ribbing on sides and conical depression in top.
Gallery Label:
This footed bowl is similar in style to certain examples of American pressed glass manufactured between 1830 and 1850. However, the quality of the glass suggests that it may be a twentieth-century reproduction.
