Description:
Ethnography. Studies of Native Americans: a rare celebration performed for Catlin and the three other men in Euro-American dress who sit in the background; men sit in a circle inside the shelter of a large three-peaked open-sided wigwam, iron pots and crockery bowls are arranged in lines around a central flag pole hung with a banner and two long crossed pipes.
