Description:
Doll's swinging cradle consisting of a rectangular, wooden bed with sloping sides with turned wood and wire spindles suspended from a frame consisting of two spool-turned posts on ox-bow shaped feet with a turned crossbrace.

According to the accession records, this cradle belonged to Mary Martha Burill (Mrs. Frederick Beverly Cossitt, 1855-1945), mother of the donor.
