Doll's hat in a square shape of white lace over a wire frame trimed with gold beads and braid with two gold tassels at rear; long gold and white lace train.

According to the accession records, this was purchased with a doll named "Marie" by Augustus Cory Richards in Paris in 1867 for his granddaughter, Edith Gray Richards, mother of the donor.
