Description:
Brass door knob said to be from the Philip Livingston House in Brooklyn; mounted atop a square piece of wood painted salmon color.

According to the accession records, this door knob was taken from the Philip Livingston House in Brooklyn by Clarence B. Ensley when the building was destroyed in 1906. The Livingston House was scene of the American council-of-war after the Battle of Long Island.
