Description:
Leather, brass, silver, and gilt sword belt; black leather belt has sewn frog and brass clip on left side suspending two scabbard slings with hooks at end, and circular brass buckle at right end that fastens to brass slot on left; belt and sling exteriors are gilt laced; wreathed design on slot and applied number on plate.

This sword belt was part of a uniform worn by Colonel Mortimer Lasky while a member of the 23rd Regiment of the New York National Guard from c. 1930-1940.
