Black wool dress trousers to New York National Guard Veteran Corps uniform, with gilt piping along the sides of each leg; 5 button fly (top button fastens on the interior), 6 ubttons around the waistband, horizontal slit pockets which button closed, right pocket has interior watch pocket; 2 straps beneath the waistband at the back which buckle at the center on rectangular metal buckle with double-tongued chape; all buttons black ceramic except pocket buttons, which are covered with black silk; waistband and pockets lined with white twill-weave silk.
