Black painted wooden drumstick.
Gallery Label: 
According to the accession records, this drumstick was used by Philip Corell (1847-1935), the donor's father. Corell enlisted in the 99th New York Volunteer Infantry in 1861 and later re-enlisted in Hancock's Veteran Corps. He was mustered out in 1866.
