Description:
Embroidered ecru linen duffel bag; 3 vertical rectangular panels on the sides, round bottom panel; one side panel shows an American sailor in front of the U.S. flag, with a ship below; one side panel shows a native American warrior above, with American soldier below; the third said panel shows a middle-Eastern warrior above, and an Asian (?) warrior below; bottom panel shows a shield-breasted eagle with stars above, flanked by female figures; drawstring has a lozenge-shaped wooden handle with metal inlay on each side, remnants of red leather tassels; bag is lined with linen.
