Bronze struck medal with obverse showing uniformed bust of Edward, Prince of Wales, facing right; his coat of arms a lower right of field; legend: "EDWARD PRINCE OF WALES." Reverse depicts draped laureated female figure facing left, at right, with oak branches on either side, with inscription at left: "COMMEMORATING/THE VISIT OF/H.R.H. THE PRINCE/OF WALES/TO THE/UNITED STATES/NOVEMBER/M.C.M.X.I.X."; below is logo of the American Numismatic Society.
