Description:
Whitework coverlet with embroidered candlewick design; eight-pointed star inside quatrefoil at center, surrounded by a series of rectangular frames decorated with zigzag patterning, floral vines, stars, swags, and small scallops; candlewick inscription at center; fringe on four sides.

Phoebe Cotheal ("PC"), the original owner of this coverlet, was the great-grandmother of the donor.
