Rectangular cast brass engine plate, heavy gauge, incised lettering, enameled black on obverse, fitted for receiving 3 bolts on reverse.
Gallery Label:
According to accession records, this engine plate is from the steamer "Trojan" that was later renamed the "New Yorker." The steamer was in service from 1909-1940.
