Description:
Lieutenant colonel's epaulet; rigid, gold lace-covered strap with silver embroidered oak leaf, button embossed with shield-breasted eagle, and gilded brass crescent; three layers of gold bullion fringe, the outermost measuring 3 1/2 inches in length and 1/2 inch in diameter; brass channel fastener.
