Description:
Pair of first lieutenant's epaulets; rigid, gold lace-covered strap with one silver embroidered bar, gilded metal button embossed with New York State shield, and circular patch with "7" embroidered on red wool inside gilded brass crescent; three layers of gold bullion fringe, the outermost measuring 3 1/8 inches in length and 1/8 inch in diameter; brass channel fastener with spring mounted hook.
