Description:
Pair of medical staff epaulets, with "M.D." in old English letters against black wool ground, flanked with oak leaves; non-regulation gold cord shoulder knots with a button at the collar end, button cast with the Great Seal of the U.S.; reverse lined with black wool felt, with metal hinged hook and eye.
