Description: 
Pair of captain's epaulets; rigid, gold lace-covered strap with two silver embroidered bars and gilded metal button embossed with shield-breasted eagle; gilded brass crescent surrounding domed insignia disk with gold embroidered "7" on red textile ground; three layers of gold bullion fringe, the outermost measuring 3 1/2 inches in length and 1/4 inch in diameter; padded red velvet lining and brass strap fastener.
