Description: 
Pair of Naval officer's gold colored epaulets with 3/8" bullion; an eagle at the center at the shoulder end flanked by fouled anchors; reverse lined with leather, with hinged metal fastener and hook.
Gallery Label: 
These epaulettes are part of a uniform worn by George Elmore Ide while he served in the U.S. Navy from 1861-1901. The Society also owns other items which were worn with this uniform.
