Parasol with black painted metal ball ferrule, black silk shade with white silk lining, telescoping metal shaft with lower half painted black, and black painted bulbous wooden handle.
Gallery Label:
According to the accession records, this is a doll's parasol. However, it is unlikely that it belonged originally to the doll with which it was given (see record no. 1971.4a).
