Description:
Ivory brisé fan with plain, square-tipped guards and sticks joined by ivory-colored silk ribbon; monogram painted in blue and green at center of sticks; ivory handle with ivory-colored silk tassel and braided closure.
Gallery Label:
This fan originally belonged to the donor's mother, Lena Burr Corse (1847-1910). It was apparently purchased at Tiffany & Co. in New York City.
