Description:
This woman's hand fan is made of paper with a wood handle. One side has a color print of a woman and girl feeding lambs with a baby bottle surrounded by a gray feather patterned border. The reverse reads "Bird's Business Institute/ 2804-6-8 Third Bet. 147th and 148th Streets/ A School Recommended by its Graduates", with a list of skills taught including shorthand, bookkeeping and penmanship.
