Description:
This woman's hand fan is made of paper with a wood handle and has a print of a woman in colonial style surrounded by a floral wreath and a flag and shield. On the reverse it reads "United States Centennial Exposition 1776 1876/ Women's Centennial" with a print of the Women's Pavillion and a poem about the important role of the "Patriot's mate" in U.S. history.
