Description:
Fan with shaped ivory guards and sticks, the guards carved with dense foliage and figures and the sticks with figures, foliage, boats, houses, and bridges; parchment leaf with painted obverse with image of figure in landscape with gilded highlights at center and reverse lined with peach-colored silk; metal handle with mother of pearl rivet; in shaped, brocade-covered metal box with metal hardware.
