Description: 
Fan with pierced ivory guards and sticks with silver painted decoration, and white paper leaf with color-printed scenes on obverse and reverse; on obverse, a landscape with multiple figures, including seated mother holding infant at center; on reverse, a landscape with five figures, including a female musician, gathered around a table; metal handle with beige silk tassel, and metal rivet with mother of pearl button; traces of feathers on edge of leaf.
