Description:
Adjustable, binocular field glasses made of black painted metal, in rectangular leather case with flap cover and shoulder strap; neck strap made of black cloth tape attached to glasses; white star insignia painted on cover of case.
Gallery Label:
These field glasses were apparently used by James Guthrie Harbord while serving as a Major-General in the U.S. Army. According to the accession records, the insignia painted on the case cover is that of the 2nd Division.
