Description:
Tall, rectangular cast iron segment of fireback designed as side panel for three-part lining for fireplace; low relief decoration composed of rectangles formed by intersecting lines; large central rectangle has oval reserve with rosette at center surrounded by acanthus leaves; spandrels have trefoils; rosette and acanthus leaf pattern repeated in smaller rectangles.
