Description:
Square cast iron segment of fireback designed as central panel for three-part lining for fireplace; low relief decoration composed of rectangles formed by intersecting lines; larg rectangles have oval reserves with rosette at center surrounded by acanthus leaves; spandrels have trefoils; rosette and acanthus leaf pattern repeated in smaller rectangles.
