Description:
Rectangular fireboard composed of canvas nailed to wooden frame, with wallpaper section attached to front surface; single section of block-printed wallpaper (7 colors) with gray background and central vignette of lake scene surrounded by foliage; scene includes large building with cupola and single sailboat in lake; rock in left foreground printed with "LAKEVILLE"; separate wallpaper border with flocking and Greek key motif.

According to accession records, the scene printed on the wallpaper is a view of Lake Success. It was printed from a wood block which once belonged to the donor.
