Oval cast iron firemark with image of a fire engine in relief and "United Firemen's Ins. Co." in relief around edge in block letters, and two holes center top and bottom.

According to accession records, the United Firemen's Insurance Company originated in Philadelphia, PA in 1860, and was still active in 1929.
