Description:
Red wool fireman's long sleeved uniform shirt with collar and button-close cuffs; machine sewn; square double-breasted placket closure at the top front has four buttons along each side and one at the throat under the collar, the placket buttons up along one side; yoke across back at the shoulders; all buttons are covered with red wool fabric.

This uniform shirt belonged to Charles H. Kirk, Lady Washington Engine Co. Kirk was the donor's father.
