Description:
Wool U.S. flag with thirty-five white cotton stars applied to both sides of the beige (originally blue) canton (five rows of seven stars); thirteen red and white stripes; natural linen hoist with metal grommets at each end.

This U.S. flag was carried by the donor's father in the Civil War.
