Description:
Wool machine-sewn U.S. flag with forty-five cotton stars applied to both sides of the blue canton (three rows of eight stars interspaced with three rows of seven stars); thirteen red and white stripes; white hoist with metal grommets a each end.
Gallery Label:
This was the last U.S. flag to be lowered at the palace in Havana, Cuba, when the American troops evacuated the city in 1902.
