Reproduction machine sewn wool ensign of the South Carolina Navy with thirteen white and red stripes with an ochre cotton rattlesnake in the center; blue cotton inscription below, "DONT TREAD ON ME".

This ceremonial reproduction of a Revolutionary War South Carolina Naval ensign is based on a non-extant original. The design of the flag is derived from mezzotints and illustrations of the original.
